As the souvenir market became saturated with merchandise that was not authentic to our islands, like t-shirts with dolphins and toucans (these animals are not native), we saw an opportunity to offer visitors something that was genuinely unique to our culture.

So we turned to ‘dushi’—a favorite word that’s rooted in our local language—and we created a series of slogans that celebrate a truer spirit of our islands.
